Both Brent and US crude oil were down on Friday US trading. US crude dropped 7,7 percent to 50,42 dollars a barrel and Brent 6,07 percent to 58,80 dollars a barrel. The volume was light due to Thursday Thanksgiving holiday and shorter trading on Friday.
Stocks were also down: S&P 500 -index ended down 0,66 percent, Nasdaq 0,48 percent and Dow Jones 30-index 0,73 percent.
In Europe the stock markets were mixed on Friday and for example the DAX-index ended up 0,49 percent and Paris CAC 40 -index 0,18 percent. In London the shares ended down 0,11 percent and FTSE 100-index closed to 6952 points. Leaders included Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY), +2,14% and Vodafone Group (VOD), +2,05%.
In Europe there were discussions about the Brexit deal and if Spain would use veto in the Gibraltar case. According to Skynews, Spain might call the Sunday EU leaders summit off unless the issue is not solved.
